Purrfect Kitty Mug
You won’t be able to resist that adorable furry face when you add your creativity to the Duncan® Oh Four kitty mug. It’s sure to put a smile on your face every time you drink from this purrfect kitty mug.
Wipe mug with damp sponge to remove bisque dust.
Use pencil to lightly draw face on kitty.
Brush three coats Light Pink to inside ears and nose. Dab spots on either side of nose for cheeks.Brush three coats Light Gray around outer ears and around face. Let dry.
Brush a heavy coat Light Kiwi in eyes. Let dry.
Brush Black pupil inside the green and make fine eyelashes on lower eyes. Brush fine lines for whiskers and mouth. Repeat with second coat. Let dry.
Lightly with pencil, mark approximately 1” lines down handle.
Paint every other section with three coats Neon Orange.
Continue painting three coats Neon Orange around cat and remainder of mug. Let dry.
Place cup on kiln shelf and fire to cone 06.
Brush two coats of Pure Brilliance to inside mug, white sections of handle and white section of kitty’s face. Let dry.
Brush one light coat of Pure Brilliance to outer mug including base. Let dry.
Stilt mug and re-fire to cone 06.
