    Once Upon a Time

    The magical appeal of fairies knows no boundaries! Now you can create your own whimsical friends with the exclusive Duncan® Oh Four™ Bisque Fantasy Collection and a delicate wash of colors from Concepts® Underglazes.

    Instructions:

    Wipe ware with damp sponge to remove bisque dust.

    Using No. 10 Round, apply three coats of Light Blush to all skin areas of fairy. Let dry between coats.

    Using No. 10 Round, apply three coats of Light Aqua to fairy’s dress. Let dry between coats.

    Dilute the Light Kiwi slightly with water. Using No. 10 Round, brush one coat on wings. Let dry.

    Using the No. 4 Liner, brush three coats of Bright Salsa on the flower petals. Let dry between coats. Using the No. 1 Liner, paint Bright Salsa on lips and a thin coat on cheeks for blush.

    Paint center of flower on fairy’s head with two coats of Bright Brown. Let dry between coats. Using the back end of the Liner, add small dots of Light Aqua in brown center.

    Use the back end of brush to create clusters of Bright Aqua dots on dress to form little flowers as shown.

    Using the No.1 Liner, paint area above eyes with Light Aqua. Paint eyes, eyebrows and eyelashes with Bright Brown. Paint irises and line around eyeballs with Black.

    Use the No. 4 Liner to apply three coats of Bright Brown to hair, letting dry between coats.

    Use the No. 4 Liner to apply two coats of Light Kiwi to leaves on back of fairy’s head. Let dry between coats.

    Use the No. 1 Liner to paint Bright Brown bangs on forehead.

    Use the No. 1 Liner to paint Bright Aqua within etchings on wings and leaves on back of head, and to create thin vein lines inside wings. Refer to photo.

    Dry thoroughly. Carefully brush one coat of Pure Brilliance™ Clear Glaze onto entire fairy, including the bottom. Let dry between coats.
